Detroit Fire Stations Deal with Lack of Electricity

For several days after storms hit the region, several Detroit fire stations were without electricity.

WXYZ (http://bit.ly/WO1hfX) reported that, as of Monday afternoon, Ladder 22, Engine 57, and Engine 60 still did not have power or backup generators.

The fire commissioner told reporters that the department was working on getting generators to the affected firehouses, and that in the meantime firefighters were being moved to other nearby fire stations.
