Detroit Firefighters Use Coordinated Attack to Quell House Fire

At approximately 1712 hours on Sunday, September 13, Detroit 5th battalion companies responded to a reported dwelling fire at Northlawn and Tireman.

Engine 42 arrived on the scene and reported a working fire in an occupied dwelling and stretched. Interior crews preformed fire attack while truck crews simultaneously opened up.

Firefighters quickly knocked down this fire using two hosellines. Responding to this fire were Engines 42 and 39; Ladder 22; Squad 5; and Chief 5.
