According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, six firefighters were seriously injured during a structure fire at a commercial building. Four firefighters are at St. John Hospital–three in critical but stable condition and one in intensive care. Locals claim the involved storefronts were mostly occupied. The report indicates that the firefighters were injured after a possible explosion brought part of the structure down on them.
