UPDATE, 2 p.m.: According to WSVN, the number of victims has been revised down to six.
A firefighter on the scene told reporters that two people were also trapped in an elevator stuck on the third floor.

ORIGINAL POST: News reports indicated that more than 30 people were injured in an explosion today in Sunny Isles Beach in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The explosion occurred at the Chateau Beach residence just before noon Friday, according to WSVN. A total of 34 people were reported injured, with nine of them in critical condition. Miami-Dade firefighters responded to the scene.
The suspected explosion reportedly occurred on the rooftop of the structure. Large pieces of concrete from a side wall reportedly fell from the building, injuring pedestrians.
