Drill of the Week: Engine Forward Lead-out

This week’s drill features a two-engine fire attack with both engines completing forward lead-outs from the hydrant to the fire area. Each supply line should be at least 300′ and be capable of flowing at least 300 gpm. One engine will begin the attack while the second engine brings up the back-up line. Apply a 30-second time delay before starting the second engine in this evolution.
