EMS Information Card
A medical information card with data on microfilm and an attached magnifier to read it is available from the National Safety Council. The size of a credit card, it carries information on insurance, organ donation, next of kin, medical conditions and allergies. In case of an accident, medical personnel would be better able to evaluate a patient’s condition with information on the card that the patient may be unable to give.
The card costs $9.95 plus postage, and comes with stickers to attach to wallets or car windshields to show that the information is available. Write to National Health and Safety Awareness Center, Dept. B, 333 North Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60601.
