Four Bodies Found in Alabama House Fire

Four bodies were recovered from the scene of a house fire Tuesday afternoon in New Market in Madison County, Alabama.

AL.com reported that residents were unaccounted for when firefighters and Madison County Sheriff’s Department personnel responded to the scene of the fire. Crews could not get inside to look for them until the fire was completely extinguished, and operations took nearly three hours.

Deputy Coroner Tyler Berryhill confirmed that bodies of two children and two adults were recovered from the scene, the report said.
