FDNY Crews Rescue Infant from Two-Alarm Apartment Fire in Brooklyn



According to a report from ABC7, the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) made a dramatic rescue of an infant through a third-floor window during a two-alarm apartment fire in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn, just before 2 a.m. Thursday.

Eleven people, including a nine-year-old boy and three-year-old girl, were injured in the fire, which happened on Moore Street.

Several residents were rescued, who were brought down by ladders to escape the flames and smoke.

Four residents were transported to Woodhull Hospital.

Two firefighters were also taken to the hospital for examination.
