The FDNY Cross Country Bike Tour is a ride across America by New York City firefighters cycling for the Widows’ & Children Fund. The 42-day tour begins in Los Angeles, CA September 14 2004 and crosses 13 States until reaching NYC October 25 2004. The 7 teams of 5 firefighters will be staying in firehouses along the route of this great nation. The tour has acquired the services of GCI Group, a large PR firm that will handle media and communication. There will be several vehicles that will serve as both support for the riders and have banner space for our sponsors, including a RV and 2 vans.
