FDNY Firefighters Battle Intense Fire at Brooklyn Hotel

Firefighters battled heavy flames overnight at a hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The fire broke out at approximately 2:15 a.m. on the premises of the Bar Bedford, located directly behind the Moxy Hotel.

According to ABC 7, fire crews worked for over an hour to contain the fire.

The fire started in an outdoor tented dining area, where flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire space and sending up thick black smoke.

FDNY officials told ABC 7 that no injuries have been reported. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
