FDNY Firefighters Respond to Five-Alarm Fire in Queens

Crews with the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) responded Friday afternoon to a fire that went to five alarms in the borough of Queens, according to reports.

The fire at 25th Street and Liberty Avenue on June 17, 2022, spread to multiple buildings. WABC reported that the wind-driven fire had spread to as many as six buildings in the Ozone Park neighborhood.

Five firefighters reportedly suffered minor injuries, the station said.
