Firefighters removed passengers from a New York ferry after it suffered what was being called a hard landing near Wall Street in Manhattan on Wednesday.
CNN reported (http://bit.ly/WOydhp) that at least 57 people were injured in the accident. Two people were critically injured.
The cause of the crash was not immediately apparent. The ferry, which is operated by Seastreak, provides daily service between New Jersey and Pier 11 near Wall Street. The boat carries roughly 400 passengers at a time.
