Fire Crews Battle Six-Alarm Fairfax County (VA) Strip Mall Fire

Crews responded to a fire in a strip mall in Fairfax County, Virginia, that left one firefighter injured, according to WUSA.

Fairfax County companies responded at around 12:03 a.m. to a report of smoke from a single-story strip mall at 1506 Belle View Blvd. The fire ultimately escalated to six alarms, the report said.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene, including aid from Arlington County, Alexandria City, Fort Belvoir, and MWAA fire crews.

No word on the nature of the firefighter’s injuries or status.
