Fire Crews Contain Mentor (OH) Wildland Fire

Firefighters responded to a recent marsh fire that burned five acres in Mentor Township, Ohio.

According to The News-Herald, on November 8 the Mentor Fire Department received a report of the fire off of the Marshview Landing housing development in the woods and marsh area.

Mutual aid companies from Grand River, Fairport Harbor, Painesville city, Concord, Leroy, Painesville, Perry and Montville townships, Mentor-on-the-Lake, Willoughby Hills, Wickliffe, Eastlake, and Kirtland assisted with the wildland fire. No one was injured and no homes were damaged.
