Fire Crews Respond to Massive Woodbridge (NJ) Recycling Fire

Firefighters attempting to extinguish a large fire at a recycling warehouse in Woodbridge, New Jersey, had to deal with a rekindle the following night.

Crews from Iselin, Woodbridge, and South Amboy were dispatched Saturday to the scene in the Keasbey section after a passing storm and winds rekindled the fire, according to The Star-Ledger (http://bit.ly/1j9Pxwe).

The fire ignited in a metal warehouse at the Bayshore Recycling plant about 9 p.m. Friday and flared for hours before being brought under control. The fire ultimately went to five alarms.
