Fire Dept. Tour of Germany
A 19-day tour of Germany being organized will leave on Sept. 24 and return Oct. 12, Chief Robert J. Veit of Grand Rapids, Mich., has announced. In addition to the usual tourist sightseeing, which will include a trip on the Danube River to Vienna, the tour will take an inside look at German firehouses and fire fighting. Stops will be made in Frankfurt, Coburg, Lanshut, Passau, Berchtesgaden, Garmish/Partenkirchen, Rothenburg, Heppenheim, Ruedeseim and Cologne.
