An overnight fire destroyed a LongHorn Steakhouse restaurant in Morris County, authorities said.

The blaze that broke out early Tuesday at the restaurant on International Drive in Mount Olive couldn’t be brought under control and the building had to be demolished, the town’s fire marshal said.

Earlier, plumes of smoke and flames were shooting from the roof.

“Incredible efforts were made by the Flanders Fire Department, Budd Lake Fire Department, and the surrounding mutual-aid companies,” the fire marshal said in a statement posted on social media.

The cause of the fire wasn’t released.

Mount Olive officials couldn’t immediately be reached for more information.
