Eighteen people were displaced after a fire damaged a fourplex apartment building Sunday morning on Tucson’s northside, reports azstarnet.com.
Residents called 911 around 3 a.m. and reported seeing flames outside a window facing an alley of the building in the 2500 block of North Fontana Avenue, according to a news release from the Tucson Fire Department.
Fire destroyed an electrical panel that provided power to all four units, the release said.
Firefighters brought the fire under control with six minutes and contained the fire to the exterior of the building.
Two of the units had minimal smoke damage and broken windows, the release said.
