>> ROBERT C. DUBÉ was named the new chief of the Alexandria (VA) Fire Department, taking over for former chief Adam K. Thiel, who took a position in the state government. Dubé comes from Louisa County, Virginia, where he served as county administrator and eventually fire chief. He previously worked as a deputy fire chief and emergency manager in Clearwater, Florida. He began his career as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in Fairfax County, Virginia.
