An explosion and fire in the C. J. Osborn Chemicals Inc. plant in Pennsauken, N.J., in August 1979, injured 10 fire fighters and threatened storage tanks at the Hess Oil Company's tank farm across the road. An estimated 200 fire fighters from 16 companies in Burlington and Camden Counties fought the five-alarm blaze or stood by as backup units. Bob Bartosz was the photographer.
