Fire Near Southwest FL International Airport

A fire at Southwest Florida International Airport in a grassy area continued to burn hours after its start, reports Fort Myers News-Press.

Last night,  the fire appeared to be spreading as  two helicopters continued dropping water and fire trucks emptied their tanks. 

Traffic was allowed to leave the airport, but no one was allowed in.
