Mobile Respiratory Training Center

NEWS

A tour of the United States and six months of training sessions at Texas A&M University are the agenda for the Mobile Respiratory Protection Training Center introduced by National Draeger, Inc.

Housed in a 45-foot trailer, the Center consists of a series of chambers and devices, including the training maze, a ladder mill, weight pulley and control room. Hazardous simulations include: smoke, noise, extreme temperatures and lighting effects. Two trainees undertake the course on a buddy system. They are continuously monitored via television and intercom from a specially designed control room. Emphasis is on duplicating conditions at various levels of physical endurance.
