Firecom Hires New Executive Vice President

Firecom, the leader in rugged and reliable team communication solutions for first responders, recently announced the appointment of Reed Stager as executive vice president, with responsibility for all division operations. Stager is also chief operating officer of Firecom’s parent organization, Sonetics Corporation. Stager plans to use his nearly three decades of experience in high-technology marketing, business development, strategic planning, services and operations to expand the use of Firecom’s fire headsets to other communication needs in the fire and first responder market.

“Hundreds of thousands of firefighters and other emergency responders depend every day on our communication headsets and systems to ensure their safety and the safety of others,” Stager said. “I am excited to be joining the Firecom team as we continue to focus on supporting our customers’ evolving needs.”  
 
Stager has earned a reputation as a growth strategist and corporate deal maker in executive and management roles at Digimarc, MERANT, Inc., In Focus Systems, Tektronix and Mentor Graphics. He most recently served as CEO of Pinnacle Licensing Group, a technology licensing company based in San Francisco. He holds a master’s in business administration from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Lewis and Clark College.
