An off-duty firefighter and police officer helped save the life of a father when he collapsed at his son’s basketball game, reports CBS Boston (http://cbsloc.al/1zAXZc9)
The 56-year-old man was at Newton North High School Tuesday night when he went into cardiac arrest.
There was a Newton police officer and an off-duty Attleboro firefighter at the game. They both rushed in to help and used a defibrillator to work on him.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and were able to revive him.
