Firefighter and Resident Injured in Nashville (TN) House Fire

A house fire in Antioch Thursday left a firefighter and a resident with minor injuries.

Firefighters were called to Fanning Drive to battle the fire around 7 a.m. They arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from multiple sides of the home, WKRN reports.

Crews initially entered the structure to combat the flames but were forced to retreat and continue battling the fire from the outside.

The injured firefighter and resident were treated for minor injuries.
