Firefighter Critically Injured in Overnight Lindale (TX) Fire

Two firefighters were injured, one critically, in an early morning house fire in Lindale, Texas.

KETK reported that two firefighters were in the garage when the roof collapsed on them.

One firefighter managed to escape unharmed. Fourteen-year Lindale Firefighter Joe Yeakley was trapped during the collapse. He was rescued by colleagues and suffered burns to his hands and face.

Another firefighter, Dixie’s Caleb Snider, suffered second-degree burns and was treated and released.
