A firefighter suffered minor injuries Thursday morning at the scene of a restaurant fire in Hartford, reports NBC Connecticut (http://bit.ly/1fsn0UF)
Fire officials said flames broke out at Tico’s Place at 394 Franklin Avenue around 5:15 a.m. The second floor of the two-story building houses apartments.
Crews had the fire under control by about 5:40 a.m. They checked the building for people who may have been trapped but didn’t find anyone, according to the fire department.
Officials said one firefighter suffered minor injuries and was treated at Hartford Hospital.
A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
