Firefighter Injured After Ax Falls on Leg During Upper Darby (PA) House Fire

A firefighter was injured after an ax fell on his leg during a house fire in Delaware County early Saturday morning.

The fire started in a home that was under construction in the 800 block of Willow Avenue in Upper Darby.

The fire destroyed the home, fire officials said.

Fire officials told NBC10 a firefighter suffered a minor injury when an ax fell on his leg. There were no reports of any other injuries.
