Firefighter Injured in Southwest Philadelphia Liquor Store Electrical Fire

A firefighter sustained injuries while battling a fire in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday. The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. on the 700 block of South 52nd Street.

According to investigators, the fire started as an electrical issue in a liquor store. Crews worked for about an hour to bring the flames under control, 6 ABC reports.

The firefighter suffered minor injuries, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
