A firefighter was injured and three people were displaced after a Fort Worth house caught fire on Monday, March 10, a fire department spokesperson said in a statement.

When firefighters arrived in the 4700 block of Hibiscus Street around 5:30 p.m., they saw flames coming from the home, the spokesperson said.

Firefighters lost water pressure as they fought the blaze, and a second line was called to continue the firefight. One firefighter was burned and an ambulance was requested, according to the statement.

The firefighter is in fair condition, the spokesperson said.

A neighboring house also caught fire and at least three people were displaced from their residences, the spokesperson said.
