Firefighter, Woman Injured in Fire at MA Senior Living Facility

A woman and a firefighter were injured Thursday night in a fire at a senior living facility in the town of Lenox, Massachusetts.

Almost 50 senior citizens, many wearing nothing but pajamas, were displaced in the fire at the Curtis building, according to the Berkshire Eagle (http://bit.ly/ZPAcKp).

The fire was mainly contained to a second-floor apartment. Firefighters and medical units from Lenox, Lee, and Stockbridge responded to the scene.

The unidentified resident was hospitalized with unspecified injuries, while one firefighter was transported and treated for exhaustion.
