Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Pennsylvania Fire That Ravages Multiple Homes

Firefighters responded yesterday to a two-alarm fire that tore through three homes in Spring Township, Pennsylvania.

A report from the Reading Eagle says the fire began in the kitchen of one residence and extended throughout the structure and to adjoining buildings. Crews managed to stop the fire in the third unit.

Video from the scene shows massive flames shooting from the residence.

All homes were extensively damaged but no one was injured, the report said.

About 75 firefighters from nine companies worked for about 45 minutes bringing the fire under control, according to the report.

Spring Township is located in the vicinity of the city of Reading in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
