FirstOnScenePhotos shared some photos from the scene of a recent house fire in the small hamlet of Sea Cliff, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island.
Firefighters responded Tuesday morning, May 31, 2022, to find a raging house fire that burned out of control for almost two hours.
The fire broke out at the large two-and-a-half story, Victorian-style home on 9th Avenue near summit Avenue around 11:00 a.m.
Heavy black smoke could be seen for miles as flames engulfed the upper floors of the house.
Numerous surrounding departments were called to the scene due to the extent of the fire and the oppressive weather conditions.
County Fire Marshals and OEM representatives were also called to the incident.
There were several minor injuries to firefighters.
