At least three firefighters suffered burns Thursday morning May 14 while battling a massive house fire in Uniondale, New York, on Long Island.

The call came in around 9:15 a.m. for a fire in the rear of a home on Argyle Avenue.

Flames quickly spread up the exterior of the two story home and extended to the inside. Two adjacent homes also sustained damage from the radiant heat.

Mutual aid companies from surrounding districts assisted in the operation.
