Firefighters Control Buffalo (NY) House Fire

Fire photographer Kevin Brautlacht shared photos of fire crews working at this Buffalo (NY) house fire last week.

The fire was at 134 Imson at approx. 12:30 p.m. on August 24. The fire occurred in a 2 1/2-story occupied wood frame dwelling. First-in crews reported heavy fire from windows on the #4 side that was impinging on the exposure building. The fire extended from the first floor to the second floor and attic. Extra companies were called in.

Firefighters brought the flames under control in about 45 minutes with extensive overhaul. At least one firefighter was being treated by EMS at the scene for unknown injuries.
