This recent fire occurred in a vacant dwelling under renovation in Detroit, Michigan. Companies had heavy fire on the second floor with no stairway to reach the fire.

Firefighters brought portable ladders into the house to get companies up in the attic.
Portions of the roof collapsed as firefighters were getting water onto the fire.
