NJ Firefighters Help Rescue Man Trapped in 24-Inch Pipe

Firefighters and other emergency workers rescued a man who was trapped in a 24-inch outflow pipe at a United Water facility in Manalapan, New Jersey.

The Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/1b51jo5) reported that the 25-year-old victim jumped a fence at the facility and got stuck in the pipe for at least two hours.

Rescuers reportedly dug alongside the pipe to cut it and remove the victim as opposed to going inside. No businesses or homes were affected by the rescue.
