Firefighters Operate at Structure Fire in Sylmar Area of L.A.

Fire photographer Rick McClure shared some images of City of Los Angeles (CA) firefighters operating at the scene of a recent structure fire in the Sylmar neighborhood.

Firefighters needed 25 minutes to extinguish the fire in a one-story converted outbuilding in the rear of a property.

Crews responded to 15131 Paddock St., near Telfair Avenue, at 10:14
p.m. and located the structure fully involved with fire. Brian Humphrey of
the Los Angeles Fire Department indicated that all persons who
were inside the building had safely evacuated.

A total of 38 firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading
to nearby hay, vegetation, and a second structure, and no injuries were reported, according to reports.
