Firefighters Report Five Fires set in Auburn (WA) Overnight

Firefighters say five fires were set overnight in the span of one block in Auburn that damaged vehicles, reports The Associated Press.

Firefighters from Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to three of the fires early Thursday and received reports of two others in the 3000 block of M Drive Northeast.

The fires were in a detached garage, a carport and in a minivan, which authorities say is a total loss. Two additional vehicles were also damaged by fire. No one was injured in any of the incidents.

About a dozen other fires have been set in Auburn in recently weeks resulting in cases of smoke inhalation and property damage.
