Emergency personnel rescued a man who dangled from a third story balcony today in Greensboro, reports greensboro.com (http://tinyurl.com/zk754t2)
They responded about 3:25 p.m. to 600 Banner Ave., where they found the man hanging upside down, with his right foot caught in the third-floor handrail.
Firefighters set up ladders to climb up to the man, put him in a harness and freed his foot from the wrought-iron railing.
They then lowered him to the second story balcony, where paramedics treated him. His condition was not available.
