Chicago firefighters responded Tuesday to a fire that heavily damaged a building in the Bridgeport section of the city. Fire photographer Steve Redick shared some photos of companies operating at the scene.

Crews arrived at the building shortly after 1 a.m. and found one exterior wall had already collapsed, and the roof caved, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune.

An adjoining building was separated by a fire wall and suffered some minimal fire communication, according to Redick. A tower, snorkel, and big lines from outside a collapse zone were used for operations around the main fire building, he wrote.
