Firefighters Respond to Brooklyn (NY) Apartment Fire

Fire crews from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) responded Sunday to an apartment fire in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Fire photographer Lloyd Mitchell was on hand to capture some images from the incident.

On January 11, a second-alarm was struck for Brooklyn Box 3921. Engine 277 and Ladder 120 arrived first due to find heavy fire from the second and third floor of a third-story brick apartment.

A report on NY1.com (http://bit.ly/1sGwmRW) indicated that despite initial reports that people were trapped inside, residents escaped unharmed. Seven people were injured in total, including an infant and four FDNY firefighters.
