Firefighters Respond to Fatal Long Island (NY) Collision

The driver of a pickup truck was killed in a collision with a charter bus in Roslyn Heights, New York, early Tuesday morning, April 1.

The 60-year-old male driver of the Coach USA bus and its only passenger, a 38-year-old man, had serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital where they were listed in critical condition.

Albertson (NY) firefighters and EMS personnel worked alongside Nassau County Emergency Service Units and County EMS for the nearly one hour extrication of the two occupants of the bus.

Nassau County police had a crime scene set up and was investigating the accident.
