Firefighters Respond to Harrisburg (PA) Rowhouse Fire

Firefighters from multiple companies responded to a second-alarm fire that impacted rowhomes in the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

According to Harrisburg Fire’s Station 2, at 8:10 p.m. on March 24, 2022, Box 3 was dispatched to the 2400 block of Reel St. for a reported structure fire, sending Wagon 3, Ladder 2, Tower 1 and the Squad. Battalion 7 reported a column from the State Street Bridge and asked for the first alarm. Ladder 2 arrived with heavy fire from the second floor of a three-story row, middle of the row. Chief 1 arrived and struck the second alarm, bringing in additional units. Several lines were placed in operation with fire in five rowhomes.

Pennlive reported that the fire had been knocked down by around 8:35 p.m. and marked under control by 8:50 p.m.
