Wheeling Fire Chief Keith MacIsaac told reporters from the Daily Herald that the cause of the fire that began around 7:30 p.m. appeared to be accidental.

The fire reportedly originated in a center garage where residents were running a business, and where highly flammable and combustible products were being stored.

Wheeling firefighters and 10 neighboring fire departments extinguished the fire. One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
