Firefighters responded to an overnight fire in the city of Yonkers, New York, that reportedly went to five alarms.
LoHud.com reported that the fire occurred in a 99-cent store in a row of stores in Getty Square.

“As soon as they got there, there was heavy fire in the building,” Deputy Chief Kevin Ford. said. Firefighters later had to pull out of the building because they were afraid the intense fire would cause it to collapse.
Ten to 12 firefighters suffered minor injuries. The report indicated that crews prevented the fire from extending to a nearby church.
