A five-alarm fire destroyed three residential buildings and five vehicles in Lawrence (MA), reports The Boston Globe.
The Hancock Street fire displaced residents, said a spokeswoman for the state fire marshal, but there were no injuries.
The structures included two single-family houses and a building of five apartments, four of which were empty. Three families were displaced, including seven adults and two children.
The state fire marshal’s office was investigating the cause of the fire in cooperation with local authorities.
