Five-Alarm Fire Erupts in NC Storage Facility

According to a report from WLOS, more than eight dozen firefighters converged on a massive fire that erupted at a Charlotte, North Carolina, storage facility.

The Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) received the call at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night at Extra Space Storage on South Tryon Street.

As of 5 a.m., the incident was increased to five alarms, and crews were still operating to access the main artery of the fire.

No injuries have been reported, and emergency medical technicians are on the scene to aid fire crews.

Officials are now attempting to determine the cause of the incident.
