Five People Injured in New Jersey Ambulance Accident

Five people were injured Monday in an accident involving an ambulance in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. There were no patients aboard the ambulance at the time of the crash.

NJ.com reported (http://bit.ly/1jwG2ss) that an elderly couple, a man in his mid-20s and two EMTs were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Just before the crash, the ambulance had been responding to an unrelated car accident. It was struck by a vehicle driven by the man in his 20s, causing it to roll over onto the elderly couple’s vehicle. It continued to roll onto a parked car.
