FL Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped by Mobile Home Fire

According to a report from WTSP, Polk County (FL) Fire Rescue (PCFR) firefighters rescued a man trapped by a fire in his mobile home early Sunday at Babson Park.

Additionally, two others were transported to a nearby trauma center by air as a result.

PCFR Battalion Chief Ramon Gonzalez said he assisted the man by passing him his breathing mask as the resident struggled to get air through a window.

Prior to this, firefighters tried to make entry through the front door, but were unable. Firefighters also attempted to enter through a side window, but items blocked them from entering.
